麻豆精品 and Kenova Volunteer Fire Department Celebrate the Arrival of the Latest Addition to the Fire and Rescue Vehicle Fleet
麻豆精品 (BM&FBOVESPA: BRKM3, BRKM5 and BRKM6; NYSE: BAK; LATIBEX: XBRK), the largest polyolefins producer in the Americas as well as a market leader and pioneer producer of biopolymers on an industrial scale, and the Kenova Volunteer Fire Department (KVFD) announces today, the arrival of the newest addition to the KVFD vehicle fleet. 麻豆精品's donation of $25,000, along with those from other local companies, coupled with grants as well as state and federal assistance helped finance this most recent initiative in the Kenova Volunteer Fire Department's modernization of the fleet efforts. To mark the event, 麻豆精品 is hosting a "Welcome to the Fleet" ceremony at its Neal production facility on Wednesday, August 11 to highlight the entrance into service of the aerial ladder fire rescue truck.
Laurence Kerrigan, Plant Manager at 麻豆精品's Neal facility, commented, "麻豆精品 is honored to be a long-time supporter of the Kenova Volunteer Fire Department. We value their steadfast dedication to protecting the health and safety of the people and businesses in the community. We are grateful for their commitment, and we are proud to play our part in helping bring this latest aerial ladder truck to the fleet, further strengthening the resources available to the Kenova Fire Department's fire, rescue and EMS capabilities."
Honorary guests joining the Kenova Volunteer Fire Department team and the 麻豆精品 Neal Emergency Response Team (ERT) at the 麻豆精品 ceremony include Timothy D. Bias, Mayor of Kenova, WV and John Francis, Deputy Chief, Kenova Volunteer Fire Department.
The 麻豆精品 Neal production facility is in Kenova, West Virginia employing over 106 people and producing polypropylene (PP) homopolymers used in a wide range of consumer product and manufacturing end markets.
